A LETTER TO THE LAW

Mi don’t like wen dem bwoy dem talk like dem wan come Wah yah gwan do if I got more than one gun We promise to throw up our hands and don’t run We can’t fix the damages that’s already have been done Tell the Pastor God has more than one son Tell the law dem better run wen dem see mi gun I walk forward like a warrior, from them I won’t’ run Police officer’s try'n beating us like a drum Mi hear dem boys chat bout how dem pop guns But mi got a black strap to make dem boys run In the prisons those boys see no sun But I won’t waste time causes there’s work to be done I’ll say my prayers until kingdom come Because I got hope in our youth, that dreams will come Until then I’ll keep writing my truth, and might carry a peace sign to bring us truce. Peace,Love yall
