letter to life

Dear My lovely life,

You've turned me inside out.

I wear my heart on my sleeve now.

My mind is exposed.

My lungs burn in the outside air

You've broken my bones,

Shattered my dreams,

Forced me to doubt,

and beat me into hallucinating a false reality

I try to blossom but you smother me

Crush my blooming petals

Dry me in the sun

And capture me as an image of past beauty
