Letter to love

Dear Love,

I see you in the movies,

I hear you in the books,

and They talk about you in songs.

They tell me that you only put them through sadness and anger

it makes them go crazy

They say all you give them is pain and all you leave is hurt.

I always wondered how you would treat me

When I was a little girl I couldn't wait to meet you.

I met ones that would masquerade themselves as you

They gave me false feels of you

All they allowed me to feel is hurt and sadness

And all they put me through was madness

I felt as if you were just a hoax.

I shouldn't have doubted you so much,

You brought me someone who makes me feel as if I am on top of the world

Someone who makes me laugh while I'm incensed with him.

The movies, the books, and the songs were all correct

You make me so livid, so wretched, and so content all at the same time

You brought me to a new me

A me that could turn jealous and psycho all in one minute

A me that cares instead of instead of neglects
