Letter of Love

Dear lover

you love me like no other.

you show

me everything I need to know.

Your smile

keeps me going a million miles.

but love

is not like a delicate dove.

it pains

me whenever you make it rain.

Every time

your lips come close to mine.

i only

begin to feel broken and lonely.

i reminisce

on the lips that you kiss.

knowing sadly

that i am not your only.

love is

pain, love is taking a piss.

simply stated

love is a lie to be hated.
