Letter to motivation

Dear Mr. Hughes, I'm sorry you were not properly thanked for sharing your inner most workings with me. Dead ink on a sheet seemingly revived by your penmanship because i'm sure that those words spoke to me. The movement? Your workings ignited the spark in the advocates that now reside in high places and i'm not referring to tree branches. Had it not been for "mother to son" the implication that because of my darkened skin I was predestined to never have my own might have been accurate but that poem told me to strive for it. Your continuous impact on a young poets soul resembling a prophet and a bible verse; soulfully spoken. I'm touched. Touched to see that the thoughts of your greater future are the benefits i reap. So though you do not seek i will not sit back and act as if your presence in the past made no difference, I thank you. You once wrote" God in his infinite wisdom did not make me very wise so when my actions are stupid they hardly take God by surprise- acceptance". A humble man he was because he did not search for dedication but he dedicated his everything to his workings, his motivation. And some odd years later his motivation, motivated me to be all that i could be. So i thank you.
