letter to my ex

for a while i seen the signs

but didnt take heed

pretending to be blind to the fact that you

werent the one for me

i was aware of the fact that you were not happy

and even though i tried everything in my power

the relationship was soon to be devoured.

the heart shaped bracelet

that i placed around your neck

was a symbol of my love for you

you walked away and left my heart black and blue

now im here trying to mend it back to new.
