letter to my ex

She was gone she was lost

And it's not even her fault

No matter how many times

I looked in the mirror

No matter how many times

I just didn't see her

Could I get any clearer

But when I was with you

 everything changed

When I was with you

Nothing was the same

The sad part is

You filled me with so much hate

You played me but I don't think

You understand

Love isn't a game

You hurt me and broke me

 and spewed on my name

And I understand at times

I deserved what I got

But at others I know

I didn't deserve to be called

A slut hoe or thot

I'm not a girl without a heart or feelings

I'm just broken and that's the realest

Pain was like my best friend

Until you replaced it until everything ended

But even that's just the beginning

I didn't think that I would

Actually catch any feelings

You were hers and then you were mine

You opened up my eyes

You changed my life

What was it you first said to me?

We connected and I was your everything?

You can never be in love

Never this young

And that's what I've seen

Even when we were dating

Being on this petty shit

I guess this was a game we were playing

And on everything I'm not gonna lie

The day that we ended

I actually sat down and cried

Not because we were over

But because you lied

Saying that your love me until the day

That you died

That I was your girl for life

I guess that's what I get for trusting your right?

I told you a lot of my secrets

And in return you told me yours

When I really should've kept mine

Locked all my doors

Built up those walls for life

Never should've shown you my eyes

I'm done with the lies

Maybe you should stop pretending

And actually try

I understand that times get tough

But even then you shouldn't let

It take away your love

If love were a game

Then baby you'd be a pawn

I'm done with the games

Baby I could be like the queen of hearts

"Off with his head" before Dawn
