Letter to my last life....

Im poppin' pills for you..

and not the type that got me trippin' and paranoid,

not the pills that make me forget my day, and drowsy for tomorrow,

not the pill that made me swallow my pride, to forget my sorrow.

definitely not the pill that you become addicted to, not the one you knew you weren't suppose to do

never took the pill that made me squirm in my sleep, and past out before i could think.

--------

I'm talking the pill that determines my motherhood,

that defines the power of my future,

and crumbles the effort of my maturity

the pill that took away my chance of giving an identity

to one I can call my own

you made me stop my womanly magic

cause what you did was wrong,

this pill I took, snatched my dream from my heart

and dispersed it into the ground,

I don’t f w I don’t how this pill we take, when we make mistake that

can hurt us in the end,

because that mistake we made, has portrayed our name

to take away what we made and forget it even happened.

all because I'm poppin pills for you, and I ain't even high.
