A Letter to My Mom

Mom,

Thank you

At times I was combative

At times I was ungrateful

At times I was insensitive

At times I was hateful

But

Thank you

For helping me thrive

For teaching me nobility

For helping me survive

For teaching me agility

Thank you

You shaped my soul

You were my foundation

You made me whole

You expanded my imagination

Thank you

I may frustrate you

I may revolve around your finances

I may disappoint you (but)

I am always given second chances

So

Thank you

At times I don't say it

For all that you do

You've given me spirit

And

 I love you

Thank you, Mom
