A letter to my past girlfriends
Dear Ex,
I told the stars about you, They got jealous because God created something as beautiful as them. Our love was a plant and we were the stems. Your smile was the leaves and my past were the thorns, Our love was. Like a commercial in the super bowl it made you smile, Your eyes shaped my world, I thought we would never go out of style. However just like a star we burned too bright, Long late night talks turned into huge disappointing fights. In our struggle there was no beauty. Our love turned to hate and trying to juggle our own life’s was just too much weight, I said goodbye to my star and late at night I think about what you are, and now what was once a past flame, has left us both burnt. Scortched and distrought when asked about the other. Now we just stare at each other and I think I’m the ex your parents will always ask ab, What ever happened to y’all? And you’ll say it just didn’t work out. See that is just talking out your mouth, You did me dirty might as well have been mud. Tears rolling out my eyes might as well have been a flood, We both know the truth and how your lying about that too. I never wanted to get hurt just wanted someone to talk to, Yet you took open aim on my heart . However I will do what I always do come, back together Just like a puzzle, piece by piece and part by part, And at the end of the day, your the one left asking could we just have a restart.
