A Letter to My President

Dear Mr. Trump

I see you

I see the pain you cause.

I see how you will hurt my fellow people.

I see the way you treat the ones who need the most help.

I see you.

I hear you.

I hear the way you speak of things so trivial to you.

I hear the way the people shout against the things you do.

I hear you silence those who never had a real voice, those who should be able to rely on you for help.

I hear you.

I know you.

I know you speak of the grandeur of America under your influence.

I know you speak without thinking of the consequences to come,

Not just to you but to US.

But most of all Mr. President,

I fear you

I fear what you are doing to people who want nothing but to live in this country you say isn't yet great.

I fear that the repercussions of what you intend to do may have the opposite impact of your oh so famous slogan,

that the people you are trying so hard to remove are the very people who make America what it is;

Great
