A Letter to My Sorrow

I didn't want to say this.

I tried to keep it inside,

but ignorance isn't bliss

and I'm tired of this pointless ride.

We've gone through much together,

but I've just begun to see

that the only one who's suffering

has always been just me.

You may think you're winning now,

but one day you will see

that all the grief you've given

couldn't get the best of me.
