Letter To My Unknown
I look at your picture just staring up at me and only wish I knew how soft your skin may be...
I hear your voice that only I can read and wonder if it is true that you sound so heavenly...
I toss and turn but to my dismay I don’t smell your scent in-which you have never laid...
It pains my heart when I wake, simply I am unaware of my fate...
I take my time and go into this blind not knowing what I have left behind...
Someday I will see the light at the end of the hall, but for now I am stuck between these walls...
Afraid that for you that I may fall,
but for now I stand tall even if we have never meet at all...
