The Letter to Nothing

The Letter to Nothing

Dear Nothing,

I regret to inform you that you are what I am feeling,

You visit me every night and fill me with emptiness.

I wish you away but you are always there,

When I am sitting alone you take a seat beside me.

I want to be alone.

I want to be alone.

I want you by my side forever,

I want to be happy with you by my side.

I want you to be nothing,

You want to be something and I will not allow it,

My life is depending on you to disappear.

I want you to go away, you are something.

You are my sub-conscience

You are me, and I am the one who is nothing.

My inner voice who tells me what to feel,

Whether it is right or wrong, I am nothing.

The thoughts are conflicting,

I am something, I am nothing.

I am nothing; I am nothing, no one.

I am something; I am something, someone.

Sadly and with love,

Anisha
