Letter to the Stop Sign
To the stop sign on the corner
Who reminds me to slow down
Look both ways before you make a sound
This next turn could be the one to change history
Constantly rushing yet you provide a break
To fiddle with the volume on this new mixtape
You give me a chance to change directions
What if this is an important intersection
So really thank you for this intermission
But it’s time for me to move on
I’ll see you again tomorrow
With a different destination
