Letter to a Stranger

Dear Stranger,

How I envy you with anger

How wonderful your life seems

With your beautiful dreams

How your smile always has gleam

Never has your heart been crushed

Never was your childhood rushed

I stare at you and I become more, and more hushed

As I envy you more…

I see how imperfect you are

You pretend to be greater than a star

And on the left side of your face is a scar

You never experienced pain

Because you brought it and hurt every girl in vane

When life finally faces you, I believe you will go completely insane

Your childhood never helped you be sustained for trials

So maybe you envy me…

How I made it through life so wonderful

How I never dream but I can face reality

Maybe it’s not my smile but the glow of my personality

I’ve been crushed and rushed into me

So maybe you envy me more.
