Letter to Taylor

I’ll make this short and sweet…

We miss you, the rowdy days and nights spent together,

From JP days to your final day walking this earth.

You were the core of Ucity, hands down. I’d never known so many people,

Teachers, family, friends alike could grieve for one person.

It amazed me. You amazed me.

I always heard that me and my little cousin Taylor were exactly the same.

Hot headed, kind, smart, funny, even cute. We had the same personality and I think that’s why

we clicked.

This letter to you will be a hard one…

Just 6 days ago, I saw your new resting place,

Your name, neatly engraved into stone,
Even your little slogan “Truly Taylor Made

When I heard the news last year in April,

I cried I didn’t believe it I was heart broken.

It was the VERY LAST thing I wanted to hear.

I needed to hear you speak again,
I needed to see your name pop up on Playstation Network,

Even on my phone would suffice.

It took me so long to accept your fate…

I write to you now to tell you.

I love you. I miss you. And that I plan to live

Out my dreams and yours. I was depressed and lost last year.

You gave me a reason to find my path.

You sparked my flame…

I had another reason to succeed in my life and I refuse to let you down.

You know that I’m a man of my word..

I know this got a little long,

So I tell you this now.

Continue to watch over us and continue to smile,

It’s our best quality,

Watch as all of your friends and family strive to make you proud.
And always keep in mind we’ll never forget you,

And that you're loved by many.
And that I remember our conversations.

You can always rely on me and I’ll always think about you.

We love you. We miss you. Rest In Peace.

And always behave like you’re “Truly Taylor Made.”
