LETTER TO THE UNBORN

#a_letter_to_unborn
Dear you unborn children
Lying in the wombs of clueless mothers
And in the testicles of powerless fathers
Here I have stood since the morning shine
Looking at a crowd of your thoughtless parents
Sitting down in a season's wait
For the President to address them
Begging them
To vote him in for a sixth term

Dear you unborn children
Why don't you kick hard your mothers' wombs
And mercilessly pinch your father's testicles
At least to restart the function of their thoughtless brains
How will they sit here silently
Listening to the lies of an aged dictator
And entrust your future to an aged dinosaur
Whose lust for power keeps him glued to the seat
Whose hand pocketed the cash for neonatal care
And swallowed the produce our farms gave
Now you will be born under the watch of a traditional midwife
And wrapped in a calico in this modern age.

Dear you unborn children
Will you watch your parents being eaten
By a toothless crocodile marauding over the river valley,
Enlighten them to sharpen the edges of their blunt knives
To skin and share his carcass amongst themselves
Hence safeguard the future of their riverside farms.

Dear you unborn child
When you get to inherit your ancestral land
Know it's worn like a tattered garment
It needs mending to restore its production
Hoes can no longer till the land
But a tractor will do the perfect tillage
Ash can no longer kill the worm
But agri-chems do perfect elimination
So when you inherit this ancestral land
Do not despise the use of farm books.

Dear you unborn children
I hope you got to read my letter
Understanding it to the possible latter
That you may follow my instruction!
