A Letter To You

Dear You, Now I know your memories bad So I'll just break it down We once had this thing for each other That had me on the ninth cloud But soon that cloud began to fade It became like mist Spreading throughout the land Unable to gather it back together So now it's just everywhere Basically I'm trying to say My love for you is still there It's just spread out and very unclear I feel in order to clear the fog Something must be done Unfortunately only from your words, Can this be achieved You must tell me you don't like me And that I must leave Maybe then in my brain it will click That I can no longer like you Because your dislike you'd admit I don't want you to be fragile Be straightforward, unlike this letter Although there will be tears It'll help me get better Over you, over us No love, no lust I can finally be free Of what I thought was meant to be No more thoughts of you ignoring me, No more lies I would tell myself That there is still a chance No more hopeless romance No future, no present, no past I just want to erase you from my memory Like you've already done to me This my letter to you, Sincerely, HoploRomo (Hopeless Romance)
