It's like you were there but you weren't 

You looked at me as if I were perfect 

All our promises turned into lies 

Too bad our hellos turned into goodbyes 

And as my smiles fades I wipe my tears away 

Your face comes into view and now I knew I never understood 

You hum your favorite song like nothing was ever wrong 

You smile so bright despite having a huge fight 

You continue to act like you don't care like our love was too hard to bare 

Too bad my heart is still shattered but then again does it really matter?
