A Letter To Your Memory
Dear Forbidden Love,
I was captured in your soft light and dreamt of the day when I could hold your heart to mine.
You chose me out of a crowd and titled me your own and signed yourself over with a list of unkowningly empty promises and your signature at the bottom.
I never would've thought that you'd be the one to rip it up.
And I know we had our black days, but darling didn't the white ones leave you breathless? But now I'm forced to swallow grey and would give anything to have your color scheme.
They ripped us apart and threw us into different corners of the earth and I ran after you, but you told me the search was pointless. Now I wander aimlessly while my eyes are trained for your face, but yours have forgotten mine.
How I wish you'd let me run into your arms again.
How I wish we could find ourselves in a distant land where there's no taste of grey and we can start again.
Sincerely,
Your Forgotten Love.
