Letters To Amelia: Day Three

Amelia, the time has come for me to sink or swim. I've word of ships through lonely trips into depression. Still... I've learned my lesson and you have yet. I had waited hand and foot, had done everything I could, and still you chose flight over me as if to foresee no regrets. I wonder what you think about now. I wonder if you feel it was worth it. I wonder if you could take it all back, would you if you knew things still wouldn't be perfect. I know this is the hundredth time you heard this and every time I bring it up, I get nervous. I just want to say that had things gone a different way, perhaps, you wouldn't be so burdened. Flight is heavy, weight is over the limit. I called it, didn't I? Yet, you refused to hear it. Maybe if you had listened to me we'd not be here lost at sea with me devoted to a 'ghost' so hopelessly in lyric..
