Letters to Heaven

You were gone too soon,

Leaving a trail of memories behind.

Everyday I miss you more and more,

Waiting til the day I can see you again.

I am sending letters to Heaven,

Full of love and life.

I have so many things to say,

So much to ask,

Only a whisper cries out.

Just a memory to me,

I hold onto every piece of you.

A secret between you and me,

No one will ever understand.

I am sending letters to Heaven,

Full of hope and life.

I wait for a response,

Nothing comes in return,

My heart breaks of silence.

My angels in Heaven,

I miss you all dearly.

Only letters will do for now,

Until my words break the void.
