Letters Of Me

Poetry is a heartfelt thing

coming up as a promise ring

Getting goose bumps when you sing,

but when you sit down letting the world be blank

You realize everything as it is

controversy is uproar and fighting is raging.

I can't just sit back and go crazy,

so I write about everything that happens

and let the pain just scream out of me.

In my hands they write letters that reflect why I'm at harm,

but I show no confession of how I feel about being so real.
