Letters from my Soul
its been weeks since i
thought of you
not an echo in my mind
whispered your name
but i saw you in pictures,
and on the sidewalk,
laughing and living your life
i wonder
do you ever remember me?
does my name make you
tremble like your's does to
me?
when you see my car does
your heart still freeze?
when your arms are
around her do they remember
how it felt when they held
me?
when you drive by my house
do you wonder if someone is
filling your space?
when she holds your hand
do you shudder and remember
what your's did to me?
when you gave me false affection?
the line between grief and guilt is a thin one.
