Letters from my Soul

please don't get me wrong

please try to understand- i don't

mean to hurt you, i'm just trying

to show

that i have a darkness, that i always

run, it makes it hard for me to

stay in one place too long

it would be an injustice to compare

you

i know there is a difference

but he said the same things and

now he is gone

he broke all his promises when

he drove away

and when he tore away,

with him went all my plans,

so don't just stand and tell me

his lies, so i fall behind

if you decide to love me, please

love my entirety.

i can't go back to the place i was

when he left.

i rose from the ashes of my love

because i've felt the depth and

weight of it all

but never in return.
