Letters from my Soul

what am i doing?

going down memory lane?

sometimes i wish memories

were a viable commondity,

as there are many i would

have sold by now.

but nevertheless, i am stuck

with you and your seductive smile

the one my lips have

burned to taste

i could not afford to

but i wouldn't miss a beat

for if you told me to jump

i'd gladly fall of the edge

of a cliff

my feet slipping off into

desire

if it meant you would love

me back

wishful thinking...

i shuffle the memory back

down beneath the cobwebs and

forgotten dreams

if only i knew how you feel

now

i sigh, "better a memory

than a moments loss."
