Letting Go

I know I should let go, so why am I holding on for dear life? To let go would mean happiness, does this mean I'm choosing strife. To let go would me freedom, troubles far way. Still each night I wonder, how to greet each coming day. Should I greet it with teardrops, a smile and a wave? Should I greet it as above it? or greet it as it's slave? Still now I wonder, how much longer to hold on. Cause I feel my grip loosening, with each and every dawn.
