Letting go .

When you were born , I was born too 

When you cried , I cried along with you. 

Sleepless nights though were a nightmare 

The smile on your face at day I would stare . 

I watched every move , heard every beat 

As you grew up,  u were a treat . 

Emotions so deep I felt for you 

Scared to let go into the world so new . 

Getting out holding each other’s hands tight 

We were sure of setting everything right . 

Ups and downs though we did face

Learnt everything is not going to be easy always . 

Values of life I’ve put into you 

Hoping it will help you sail through . 

Now as you tread this path alone 

I feel so  proud to see u all grown .

Move assured that I’ll always be there

As a part of me I wonder goes where ?
