Letting Go

I cannot let go

fore my blood must flow

because i cannot feel

my mind beginning to peel

away the agony of losing

you in the midst my musing

about the life i despise

as my love for you dies

in a tidal wave of lies

that cannot truly exist

because i'm pissed

see the clenching of my fist

means you don't resist

screaming for help to enlist

as we kissed

souls entwined

my eyes blind

to the fact you are not kind

in the way we have defined

because we bind

our abilities to combine

and not our need to grind

the sole purpose of life into lust

or into the idea of disgust

which leads to how we judge

holding a grudge

against our own friends

who souls we attempt to cleanse

and now my poem must come to an end
