It rained

The day

You left

My world paused

And the sky fell

When I said goodbye

I was so afraid

I was choking

On panic

As I let you

Slip from my grasp

But suddenly

With you gone

The air is clearer

I loved you then

And a part of me

Will always love you

I miss you

Of course I do

That even after the sky fell down on us
