Letting Go
Because I love you,
I will not dangle your past as leverage to guilt
or shame you.
I will not emotionally or mentally torture you
with ridiculous mind games.
I will not ever physically lay a hand on you.
I will not belittle or treat you as if you were less,
because you are the most precious of all treasures.
Because I love you,
I will support you through any aspiration you wish to achieve,
even if it does not work to my favor.
I will shower you in positivity,
especially when you're at your worst.
Most of all,
I will always respect your wishes and boundaries,
even if the wish is for me to let you go.
