Letting Go

I always thought that letting go was a sign of weakness
That if I let go of something that made me feel complete I will be condemned for doing so
That if I let go of the slightest thing that made me who I am today I will be judged for my own life
That if I let go of those that made me feel good about the things that were bad then I would be in the wrong
But I learned that my letting go was my form of moving on
Sometimes the things that made me who I was today isn't the things that will make me what I am tomorrow
Letting go means that you still have hope for yourself in the future
That you will soon find that light at the end of the tunnel that people was doubting you would get to in the first place

So you can find your own purpose in the life you came alone in and be happy in a world that you was raised in
Sometimes there is not an answer to why things are but there is an answer to why you were created
I was created to be in a life that no one can take advantage of me and steal my greatness
I was created to be a beautiful black woman who walks in dignity and speaks with ambition
I was created to be the best I can be In a world filled with tragedy and sin
I was created to lead others to the light that will bring them peace, love, and joy

I was created to live with Gods living will and purpose for my life and know that letting go is not a form of weakness but rather a form of success
