Letting Go

When I saw her face again for the first time in a long time I froze
That smile that made me melt in the first place
Her doing so well
I felt stuck
Just looking at her again
I seen all of our memories in her eyes
I felt lost
Holding hands for the last time not knowing it would be the last time
It takes a toll on me now
I seen a life with her
But I'm better off without
I'm happy with where I'm at
She looks happy too
So I think it's time to let go of the past
