Those days i tend to miss

Feeling so happy

I think to myself

It just can't get better than this.

My high keeps getting higher

The weight on my shoulders

Feels a little lighter

The fear that lies deep inside

It vanishes

With no trace left behind

Those days i fear

Where i feel so alone

I just sit around and hear

Other people boast

I put on a fake smile

And you'd never know

That nothing had turned out like I'd hoped.

Some days just feel so numb

Passes by in a matter of minutes

But where  does it come from

Feeling no emotion at all

When im just standing there

I feel as though

I'm about to fall.

They all mend together

Gluing each memory to another

Till it's all a blur

bound to each other with a tether.
