Liberation

You’ve showed me darkness

And bright new colors,

Helped me see light

When i could not see others.

The warm smell of coffee

And burn of chocolate,

Bent over a notebook

And ideas that you lit.

Blinded by stage lights,

Heart in my ass,

You gave me a test

I never thought I could pass.

You inspired me to expand,

To seek inspiration,

But it's you who brought me

My personal liberation.
