Liberator of Souls

Internally, his soul pressed so intently against the glass-like eyes before him, peering through these windows, fixated, so intimately preoccupied by the most entrancing, most desirable of sights: soul--through a window of course though, too, does she gaze back, wishing for the freedom that may allow for the most miniscule of opportunities to pounce her charmer. Often are these souls withheld from each other by their transparent imprisonments, and yet, they provoke such torturous punishments for themselves, for never do they reject the opportunity to observe, from afar, their long distance love, fully aware that it is to remain long distance. Whenever these eyes meet, be it by chance of by fate, so concentrated is the ecstasy that draws them to their window, both to be on display and see the display awaiting them. However, inevitable is the pain resulting from this, for so close are these souls in heart yet the distance separates them with a fierce antonymic magnetism. The tease severely drains them, but they have become religiously devoted to their rendezvous. One occasion, an epoch, remembered and cherished for its revolutionary boldness, served as liberator. Their eyes interlocked and her soul appeared before her quite limiting shackle, grinning by the intoxication of conviviality, only to witness a gallery emptied of its prized masterpiece. He was not there. How harsh was the abandonment she felt upon her assumed desolation. Yet he had not deserted her at all. Oh, quite the contrary was the reality. Yes, he had sacrificed some precious seconds, but in the process, appeared so valiantly within the mouth, pacing the tongue with a lion-like ferocity. He appeared as if to be thoroughly assured of his actions, though more desperate than anything were his convictions. So much so that faith became his motivation and optimism became his strength, and thus he lept from the mouth, in the form of words of such compassion. Mattering, not what he said, but how he said it--soulfully, sincerely, epiphanically--the words warmed her soul, as if his soul, himself, had gently caressed her with his touch. He had loved her with a love that was love and more, and now, she could feel this, instead of simply imagining it. When converted to words, these souls knew boundaries enforceable by only God's will, for they have defeated the distance, shattering its shackles and thus ending its supreme reign. No longer were they restrain, these former slaves of the mind. Now, they were finally together, words, of course being their Liberator of Souls.
