The Library

leave your life to the Library

it might be hard to do

but it means in the end

when your when becomes went

death will never truly take you.

leave your life to the Library

so your years aren't spent in vain

a sketch of your heart

records of your soul

and a book filled up with your brain.

leave your life to the Library

it won't matter to you by then

but to someone still here

quietly battling fear

it matters more than you can imagine.

leave your life to the Library

so when your time is through

even if it's just one

you might just stop someone

making the same mistakes as you.
