You told me to hide this guy’s name while the other was around

I never said a word until he asked me straight up

And now you’re trying to threaten me, throw me on the ground

Saying it’s my fault he left you when you`re the one living two lives

Come on girl get with it, you created this web of lies

Spinning around and around now you’re dizzy with nowhere to hide

I shouldn’t have to be your cover, your sanctuary, your alibi

I respect you but I don’t cover for unfaithfulness

My greatest fear is to not be accepted by friends, family, peers be flat out rejected

I`ll bend over backwards and jump through hoops hoping and praying to be liked by you

Yet I am always the one getting walked over, used, and never respected

Well today that changes, I will defend myself rather than fall to your feet begging for forgiveness
