Lies

Sweetest lies

with the truest of ties

All you did was doubt me

but, you weren't even about me

Had to piece together the real version of you,

so my nickname is Nancy Drew.

We were supposed to be booed up,

but now the work on the street is you sip lean from a double cup.

Scared to trust,

although with you it was just lust.

Just because I left doesn't mean you had to cause a fuss

now I have to subtweet the things you do with bullshit like Russ.

You screamed BURN BABY BURN

oh, how the tables have turned.

Anything that we had built

is set now to rot and wilt.

You whisper to me the sweetest lies,

but don't care when i let out the loudest of cries.

All I wanted was you,

but now I will just let you do what you do.
