Lies
You told me forever
you promised me always
you said you loved me
and that you would never leave me
I believed you
all your sweet lies
because I was young and blind
my heart still untouched
but now I know better
to give someone my heart blindly
and trust them not to hurt me
because you shattered my heart
and left me to pick up the peices
