Like bitter flies that buzz annoying atrociousness near your ears and eyes
Stinging and slapping with every word, a crooked whip
Every tongue is indeed a bit twisted, hiding truth in false disguise
Liquid drops caress your cheeks as you dig yourself a grave

Who you are, you wonder as you fall into character
Spinning words like spiders spin webs, not a part missed, not a part unsaid
You the charmer, they the gullible followers
Disgusting white snakes entangling friends and lovers with hidden intentions

You the betrayer, being hurt most cringing in your ecstasy
Falsifying witness, dodging bullets
Excuses to protect the prey so easily tricked
Crooked smiles with an adrenaline altered self.

Like an open book, your facade sensed by a few though try as you might
The spell broken, gasps and whispers follow you like phantoms
Echoes corner you, the grave complete
It is getting dark, you can’t go back
You reach out and try to fix it, but it’s too late, the clock has struck midnight

Not even flowers can save you
Ignorance gone you take time to listen; an entrancing sound
Like bitter flies that buzz annoying atrociousness near your ears and eyes
