Lies and Lost Love

And someday
you’re gonna realize
those people you call friends
are full of lies

They aren’t people
you wanna hang around

They twist what you think
and make you believe what they say
to think they’re always right
but it’s not okay

How long will it take
for you to see the real truth

I understand
why they do what they do
it’s insecurities
they use to mess with you

they’re coming out
in all the wrong ways

they are decent people
yes it’s true
but they are wrong
about me and you

I’m not your enemy
I’m your love…

Or have you forgotten
who I am to you?
