THE LIES CONSTELLATIONS TELL

Frothy, bitter ignorance with a hint of melancholy juxtaposition

Starry gazes from the starry boy, & all he’s ever known is easy acceptance

The quixotic girl that wants to use quixotic in a sentence

28 tears fall but get confused with 28 raindrops

Poignant confusion from the girl who doesn’t know how to reply

Forgotten calculators and nostalgic Friday night football games

And worst of all the striking, romantic clouds of bitter realization that we won’t talk anymore
