The lies I know

They're told to me everyday.

As I sleep I lie awake in my own consumption of pity.

To be brave yet stupid.

To see yet be blind.

To listen, but yet be told the lies.

Lies that corrupt and break me.

Twist images inside my mind until I think of them as peace.

I'm not at fault yet who's the one to blame?

Everyday, I tell myself these lies.

Lies that I create inorder to fit rather with the lines instead of in between.

I want to live yet I feel like I'm dying.
