Lies: Truth in Disguise
Howling wind
her head spins.
Wondering when this storm set in?
Where did it all begin?
But roots cannot be traced
when the truth is erased.
A lie told
is another hope sold.
Deceit takes it’s final form
in trusting faces
and empty words
Truths unseen
It’s shocking what reality brings.
Lightning strikes
the flame ignites.
Burning bright
and a sudden change in her eyes.
And then the branch snaps,
it all comes down.
Darkness takes over,
bringing the absence of light, sight and sound.
Chaos all around.
Is there any truth to be found?
