Lies Upon Lips

And lo, the Sheppard doesn't the sheep miss
Even if last things spoken remem'brant
The only lies your lips spoke were your kiss
And to ecstasy my heart has been sent.
In the shadows lurked a devious truth
One that would a strong chieftain's world shatter.
You are the bending sickle of one's youth
When asked it, you speak "It doesn't matter
Worry nor your heart neither your mind, love"
Is your intent that of a serpent's bite?
So close yet distant, as eagle to dove.
So kiss me again. And wish me good night.
And lo, the sheep doesn't the Sheppard miss
The very lies your lips speak are your kiss
