There comes a time

When we all learn

What happens when

Life drives us up

and drives us down

We learn to live

And learn to cry

Get hopes up

Or watch some die

 

Every curve ball

Every speed bump

And obstacles

When hardship comes

 

We must keep our chins up

Brave the front

And keep on fighting

 

And triggers come

Believe in life

And its outcomes

And remember

Life's a clock

that keeps on ticking

we must feel the pain

to know our gain

 

plus the good

and someday

feel well enough

to push on forward
