Life

The sole thing I must,

The one thing I need,

The only I trust,

The single I breathe.

Life. Life. Life.

An ache within to thrive,

Without the privilege to take flight,

What is it to survive?

If I were to die today,

With no hope for tomorrow,

But lived life's full in yesterday,

I'd fade without a sorrow.

The gift I crave is life itself,

Where existence is no pull,

There's so much more that's to be had

With life lived to the full.
