Life

Life may be cruel

But it is your life

Those who have the hardest lives

Are those who god tests

For those who succeed

are granted immortality in the minds of man

But those who fail are forgotten

Those who gain god's favor reap the rewards

and even those who succeed and live a life of luxury

Forget what they once had to through

They forget the pain and the struggle

For they too are blinded by what life can offer

and they scoff at the ideas that they once considered themselves

When the people still living fail

they are ridiculed and hated for being themselves

when those who succeeded look down on the failures

they do not see themselves and what they once were

they see those who failed and who shouldnt be cared about

Because they failed

When god looks down and sees this he is sad

But can't intervene

For even though we are his children

we must learn that not all of us are perfect

and those whose may seem perfect

Just have the best masks
